Amy Forshaw

Amy graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2018 with a degree in Law and Business and completed the LPC Qualification in June 2020 at Liverpool John Moores University, obtaining a Distinction.

Amy began her career at MSB as a Paralegal in the Plot Sales department after completing a summer placement with the team in August 2018. After obtaining her Training Contract in January 2019, Amy commenced her first seat in the Family Department, working within the Private Client Family Law Team, dealing with a wide range of matters from high net worth divorces, financial matters and children cases.

Amy qualified into the Employment Team as a Solicitor in September 2021.

Amy’s prior experience has equipped her with a unique skill set to deal with the broad and technical nature of Employment Law. This has helped her adapt to the constantly changing rules and legislation surrounding the Covid-19 pandemic and to guide both individuals and business clients through the uncertainty of this global pandemic.

Amy’s work also covers a wide remit of areas including advising on disciplinary and grievance matters, sickness absence cases, discrimination and TUPE matters, as well as drafting and implementing Contracts of Employment and Settlement Agreements.

The Employment team have also partnered with a charity called, The Growth Company, to ensure workers who have been hit hardest by the pandemic have access to free legal advice. Amy helps lead this great initiative on behalf of MSB.
