Solicitor

Prior to Gary embarking on a career in law, he worked for Virgin Atlantic Airways as Cabin Crew in June 2000; working his way up through the ranks to Flight Service Manager. With almost 20 years of experience working for a high profile commercial airline, Gary takes great pride in delivering high levels of client care, ensuring that he builds on relationships and delivers a high level of service, achieving the desired results for our clients.

During Gary’s flying career, he chose to change path and pursue a career in law. As a mature student graduating from Liverpool John Moores University in 2017, he achieved his LLB and LPC and he will qualify as a Solicitor in 2021.

Gary began working for MSB in February 2018 as a part time Family Court Clerk, working in a busy and thriving Family department.

In September 2018 Gary started his training contract at MSB with his initial seat being in the Employment department, allowing him to gain expertise and knowledge in all areas of employment law, which flourished day by day.

Gary worked with both Claimant and Respondents, assisting them through the Tribunal processes; in claims such as Unfair Dismissal, Disability Discrimination and Settlement Agreements.

Gary has a particular interest in Claimant work, ensuring that the individual client receives the best possible outcome in their claim. Gary’s past experience enables him to communicate effectively, give excellent client care and to understand each client’s needs, always striving for better ways for the profession to do things.

He also enjoyed working with a number of businesses to ensure that all their employment and HR needs were met, such as drafting employment contracts, employee handbooks and always being on hand to answer any legal issues that they may face from their employees on a day to day basis. Gary also assisted advising on issues such as redundancy, reorganisation and restructure.
