Katie joined MSB in 2016, before qualifying as a solicitor in 2017. She undertakes work in both divorce and children matters and is able to deal with all matters surrounding relationship breakdown.
A tenacious and thorough solicitor, Katie has experience in dealing with cases in the High Court and applications to the Court of Appeal including cases involving serious and complex issues of deprivation of liberty and international aspects.
Katie has a growing reputation for relocation cases and child abduction proceedings and is skilful in her ability to advise clients clearly on technical matters. Katie is able to act quickly for her clients, who often require emergency applications to be made to prevent the removal of a child or secure the child’s return.
With experience across a number of different jurisdictions and utilising different inter country bilateral agreements, Katie is able to advise clients on the enforceability and effectiveness of court orders.
Katie is also resolution accredited in child abduction and honour based abuse.
Katie understands the difficult nature of issues following the breakdown of a relationship and advises clients in a calm, understanding and direct manner.
