The latest at MSB

Exciting news! We have a new solicitor in our team! We have been joined by Victoria Coburn, who will work in our Private Landlord and Market Rent team. She is already a great addition.

We are thrilled that MSB have been awarded Leading Firm for Client Satisfaction by Legal 500. A huge congratulation to Rebecca Collins who gave birth to her gorgeous baby boy.

Our free webinar this month was on Notices in possession proceedings, hosted by Louise Murphy.   Tom Knox was also out and about delivering Consumer Standards Senior Leadership and Board Coaching Sessions, while we hosted bespoke online and in-person training sessions for clients.

If you are interested in arranging training sessions or our new coaching sessions, please contact dominiqueowens@msbsolicitors.co.uk.

We had a great time meeting new and familiar faces at the Housing and Community Summit in Liverpool. We hosted our MSB Live, Live at the Summit and it was a great success.  Don’t forget we usually host MSB Live on the third Wednesday of every month which is a free online legal surgery anyone can join. You have access to a specialist housing solicitor to answer any queries you may have in a separate break out room.

We have been raising money for Bradbury Fields, who offer a wide range of support services to those living with sight loss. Some of the team conquered some fears and abseiled down Leasowe Lighthouse. We have also been supporting gas safety week. We love supporting great causes, so if you have any projects you would like us to get involved with, please contact thomasstockton@msbsolicitors.co.uk.

We have been out and about once more this month. Coale Holmes, Abigail Eaves, Jessica Masih, Matthew Parks and Kimberly White attended the St Ives Housing Conference and took the opportunity to visit our new Birmingham Office and meet some of the team in person. Phillip Coburn attended the Wirral and Chester Business Fair and we also entered a team into the Women In Property North West Quiz. It was a great night!

Our Book Club reads this month are ‘The House in the Cerulean Sea’ by TJ Klune, ‘The Art Thief’ by Michael Finkel, ‘hysteria’ by LJ Ross and ‘All the Yellow Suns’ by Malavika Kannan. If you are going to give any of the books we have recommended a go please let us know your thoughts and we can add your review to our book club newsletter. Read the latest newsletter
