Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Family Solicitor with a strong focus on children law to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in handling complex family law matters, particularly in cases involving child protection, care proceedings, adoption, and disputes over contact.

Job Specification

You will be responsible for managing a varied caseload, offering expert legal advice, and representing clients in sensitive situations. In addition to managing your own matters, you will play a key role in supporting and guiding fellow solicitors, fostering an environment of collaboration, and contributing to the overall growth and success of the department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advise and represent clients in child protection and children-related matters, including care proceedings, adoption, and child arrangements.
• Handle complex legal issues with empathy and sensitivity.
• Mentor and support colleagues in developing their legal expertise and handling their own cases.
• Contribute to the continuous development of the practice and enhance service delivery.
• Stay updated with the latest developments in children’s law and family court procedures.
