MSB’s Social Housing Highlight – March
Bringing you all the latest updates from the world of Social Housing.
The latest at MSB
This month, we’re introducing our employment team! Our team of experts can provide advice and assistance to your HR departments on all things employment law. You can find their helpful employment law update, here.
Earlier this month, Louise Murphy and Andy Moore delivered our free monthly webinar along with Janine Green of Janine Green ASB. The training involved a mock trial, which featured some of our team showing off their acting skills. It was such a success that we ran the webinar for a second time later in the month.
If you’re interested in arranging bespoke training sessions with the team, please contact dominiqueowens@msbsolicitors.co.uk.
We’ve been celebrating International Women’s Day (IWD) across the firm throughout March, with the inspirational women at MSB sharing their thoughts on this year’s theme, #BreakTheBias. We also hosted International Women’s Day celebratory lunch together with Agent. In addition, we sponsored Open Media’s IWD campaign, which saw some incredible women featured on their digital screens across the country.
In some very exciting news, Amy Tagoe has been appointed to the Board of Women in Social Housing North West. We also celebrated the happy news that Andrew Fairman and his wife found out that they are having a baby girl!
Our trainees Julia Michalczyk and Beth McKeown have been busy with exams on their LPC, with Julia passing her solicitor accounts exam with flying colours – congratulations, Julia!
Finally, we’re delighted to have welcomed a new legal assistant in the team – Hannah Mullen has joined us and has made a great addition. We’re sure you’ll be seeing more of her.
