We have been supporting ASB Awareness week this month which ran between 8th November and 24th November. We love supporting great causes, so if you have any projects you would like us to get involved with, please contact thomasstockton@msbsolicitors.co.uk.
Our free webinar this month was on Tenancy Fraud. It was hosted by Andrew Fairman and Amy Tagoe and there was a great turnout. We also hosted bespoke, in-person training sessions for clients. We have been out and about this month, with Phillip Coburn attending the 10th Anniversary Gala dinner for Collaborative Women and Amy Tagoe attending both a ‘netwalk’ and Christmas wreath making with Women in Property North West. Corale Holmes also attended the North West Housing Law Practitioners Annual Conference.

Tenant Satisfaction Measures (TSM)
On 26th November, the Regulator of Social Housing published its analysis of the first year of TSM results along with the results of its National Tenant Survey.
Leasehold Reforms
On 21st November, the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government announced reforms to give leaseholders greater rights and control over their homes.
ASB
On 21st November, the Housing Ombudsman published its latest ‘Learning from severe maladministration report’ which focuses on ASB.
Reforming the Right to Buy
On 20th November, the Ministry of Housing Communities and Local Government launched a consultation on Right to Buy reforms. The consultation closes on 15th January 2025.
Complaint Handling Code
On 12th November, the Housing Ombudsman produced is first complaint handling report since the Complaint Handling Code was introduced.
