Trainee Solicitor
Abbie joined MSB as a Paralegal in the Social Housing and Regeneration team in January 2023 and secured a Training Contract with MSB to begin September 2024.
She obtained an Upper Second Class Honours in her LLB Law Degree from the University of Liverpool in 2023 and completed the Legal Practice Course (LPC) at the University of Law in Liverpool in 2024.
During her time in the Social Housing department, Abbie has worked predominantly in the Anti-Social Behaviour team gaining valuable experience in drafting and issuing injunction and possession proceedings. Abbie has also provided assistance on a range of matters in the private landlord and disrepair team as well as administrative assistance to all fee earners. She is eager to further her knowledge and understanding of Housing Law and gain more confidence with regards to advocacy while hoping to sit in the Family Law department during her training contract.
Abbie enjoys contributing to MSB’s avid commitment to ESG by working with Bradbury Fields and organising fundraising events for the Centre. Most recently, Abbie organised the Dine in the Dark event which raised over £1000 as well as the Abseil down Leasowe Lighthouse which raised over £500.
Abbie is excited to qualify as a Solicitor in September 2026 and is keen to continue her journey with MSB.
