Amy Tagoe
Senior Associate Solicitor and Head of Housing Management
Amy has specialised in housing litigation since 2005. She completed the Bar Vocational Course in 2005 and cross-qualified as a Solicitor being admitted to the roll in 2008. She has worked in MSB’s Social Housing and Regeneration Team since February 2021
Amy has particular expertise in Housing Management, Anti-Social Behaviour, Compliance based litigation, Possession claims and Disrepair.
Amy regularly delivers training to clients and holds legal drop-in surgeries and attends estate walkarounds to offer free legal advice and assistance. Amy also drafts the team newsletter and coordinates articles and information published and distributed to clients.
Amy also has experience in dealing with appeals including one case heard in the Court of Appeal which was widely reported, having an impact on how anti-social behaviour cases should be considered by the court
Amy has a passion for all aspects of housing litigation and has focused on social housing throughout her career.
Amy is also a board member for Women in Social Housing North West and is involved in organising their training and networking events.
