Partner and Head of Family
Emma succeeded Managing Partner, Emma Carey as Head of Family in 2018 and has been a Partner of the firm since 2017.
Emma specialises in international family matters and complex children proceedings representing parents, children and wider family members. She is a Fellow of the International Academy of Family Lawyers, a Resolution accredited specialist in: child abduction, forced marriage & honour based abuse and domestic abuse and a member of The Law Society’s Children Panel. Emma is instructed by the Official Solicitor to act for parents abroad in child abduction cases.
Emma is instructed by clients all over the world for High Court matters. She has provided training to other family lawyers, CAFCASS and charitable organisations on topics including complex care proceedings, child abduction, wardship, international divorce, forced marriage and honour-based abuse.
Emma is a Director of Liverpool Law Society and Chair of the Liverpool Law Society Family Sub Committee.
