Jane Sampson
Consultant Solicitor Advocate
Jane specialises in all aspects of Children Act applications, having been a member of the Child Care Accreditation panel since 1995.
She is a highly experienced and skilled advocate, having represented clients in all courts from the Magistrates through to the High Court, in criminal as well as family cases.
The representation of both children and parents in these very stressful situations requires many skills including mediation, negotiation and strong advocacy. Jane has a reputation for using all of these skills to ensure the best possible outcome for her clients.
Training and development have been an important part of Jane’s career, having been a regular trainer in both Children and Criminal procedure.
Jane has undertaken training for the Law Society and a number of other providers of Continuing Professional Development, particularly in the area of advocacy.
Jane is also a Governor of a local primary school, contributing to the local community and assisting the teaching staff and school leaders, allowing them to devote more of their time to the teaching of the future generation.
She is passionate in her belief that there should be access to justice for all, ensuring the most vulnerable in our society are able to challenge the most powerful with equal representation.
