Overview
Mary Holmes has worked in family law for over 30 years, specialising in care proceedings. She regularly advises clients who have serious mental health difficulties, people who suffer from addictions and those facing serious allegations of physical, emotional or sexual harm, as well as neglect. Mary approaches all matters in a non-judgmental way and is mindful of how overwhelming, stressful and emotional such matters can be for parents and family members.
Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI)
Mary has attended events related to anti-racism, gender equality and disability inclusion in relation to LGBTQ rights. She advocates for a fair hiring practice and accessibility to workplaces and does her best to promote and model inclusive behaviour and encourage others to do the same.
Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG)
Mary takes sustainability, ethics and their long-term impact very seriously. Where possible, she uses public transport, recycles and supports sustainable brands and lifestyle choices. She is involved in local community clean-ups and donates to causes aligned with social equality.
