Michael Boland

Overview

Michael Boland deals with all aspects of Family Law including Divorce and Financial Matters together with Children (Public and Private) Matters, Injunctions, Cohabitee disputes, Change of Name Deeds, Pre and Post-Nuptial agreements and Surrogacy. Michael works on both privately and publicly funded cases. He is currently building a LGBTQ+ legal support service within MSB to support LGBTQ+ businesses and members of the community.

Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI)

Michael supports members of his team to provide a pro-bono legal service and help those from minority backgrounds with their pathway into the legal profession. 

Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG)

Michael is a member of MSB's LGBTQ+ ESG committee and continues to support the community with initiatives such as pro-bono Change of Name services and drop-in clinics to support women. He is a board member at CMAGIC, a Community Interest Company that is changing the way Trans and Non-Binary people access gender services in Cheshire and Merseyside.
