“…great deal of understanding and patience throughout my initial case. Being someone with a neuro developmental spectrum disorder, Nicole was empathetic and compassionate…”
Nicole Ralston
Associate Solicitor
Nicole undertakes work in all aspects of family law, and is a member of the care team specialising in public law children proceedings. She also does a lot of private law children work and has a clear understanding of the problems that can arise when a family separates. She is committed to finding the best possible solution for her clients, ensuring the relationship between parents and their children can be protected.
Nicole usually represents parents in proceedings and will often represent grandparents. Another area of law which Nicole practices is Domestic Abuse cases and she has represented many clients successfully on applications for emergency inunctions.
Nicole is Irish and moved to Liverpool in 2005 where she has settled down and started a family. However, she has maintained very close links with the Irish Community in Liverpool and works closely with the charity Irish Community Care. Nicole has offered law clinics at the charity for Irish immigrants who need advice regarding family issues. In particular, she has spoken to parents who want to relocate back to Ireland with their children, or who want to have contact with their children who continue to reside in Ireland.
Nicole is committed to MSB’s approach to Environmental, Social and Governance. She is heavily involved with The Anthony Walker Foundation and has organised a number of fundraising events for the charity. She also volunteers at John Moore’s Law Clinic and Charity Tomorrow’s Women on a regular basis.
Nicole won the Merseyside Junior Lawyers Division Award for Rising Star 2019.
