Pippa obtained a Law degree from the University of Liverpool in 2006, before going on to complete her Legal Practice Course at Chester College of Law. Pippa qualified as a solicitor at MSB in 2011, spending the last few years practicing in Cheshire, before to MSB in 2020 as a senior associate.
Passionate about the work she does, Pippa is approachable and empathetic with a robust and pragmatic approach to achieving the best possible outcome for her clients.
Pippa specialises in divorce and complex financial disputes arising on marital breakdown, involving mid to high net worth assets, dealing with cases involving assets outside the jurisdiction, multiple pensions, business assets, trusts, inheritance issues , third party interests, committal proceedings and spousal maintenance. Pippa prides herself on attention to detail and forensic examination.
She further deals with financial disputes arising on cohabitee separation relating to equitable title of property and for financial provision brought on behalf of children when the parents are unmarried, cohabitation agreements and pre and post-nuptial agreements.
Pippa also regularly undertakes complex private law children matters to include finding of fact hearings and protection from domestic abuse. .
She is an Accredited Resolution Specialist in Complex Financial Remedies and Domestic Abuse. She has established and maintains close links with Domestic Abuse Safety Units and is a member of Chester Women’s Aid, retiring from the committee in 2018.
Being from North Wales, Pippa’s second language is Welsh.
She has a reputation as one of Chester’s top divorce and children lawyers and has achieved success in cases across all levels of the family court, including in the Court of Appeal as solicitor for the successful appellant in L (A Child) [2016] EWCA Civ 1297.
