Yvonne Dennison
Senior Crime Paralegal
Yvonne has been working in criminal law since 2002. She had previously been employed in finance but following selection as a juror she developed a real passion for criminal defence work leading to a complete change of career.
Yvonne’s work includes case preparation for Crown Court matters including offences of Murder, Manslaughter, Fraud and sexual offences. In addition, she prepares cases including assaults, dishonesty offences and motoring offences in the Magistrates Court.
She is an approved VHCC litigator allowing her to conduct preparation of complex/lengthy trials in the Crown Court. Yvonne also represents individuals at interviews with the Department of work and pensions for benefit fraud investigations.
She has an empathetic nature towards her clients and a good understanding of the difficulties faced by clients as a result of their mental health issues and/or drug and alcohol addiction. This has resulted in regular recommendations and referral work made to her.
She is committed to providing excellent service to her clients and had works with highly experienced and respected counsel and other professionals to ensure the best outcome for her clients.
